| If someone would check their Falken 451 tires to verify the existence of a serial number I would really appreciate it. I'm either going blind or there is no unique serial number per tire. The NHTSA web site has a document relating to the Falken 451s stating:
"Note: The tire description usually includes an ID number. The tire ID number changes by production week and it is not a tire serial number. Tire ID numbers that are identical indicate that the tires were manufactured during the same week, not that they are the same tire." Does that mean there isn't a unique ID per tire or that there is a tire ID number per batch in addition to a serial number? My two front tires have the same batch ID (good news), my rear two tires have the same batch ID (good news), but I can't seem to find a unique serial number anywhere. The DOT logo isn't followed by a unique serial number on the tires.
